Thank you for your commitment to be a staple representation of Chief of Staff, and for your continued efforts to reinforce health safety. Your cooperation and follow-through on the above policies and procedures is immensely appreciated and valued.

Policies & Procedures

Corporate Employee Policies & Procedures

Please be advised that the following practices will be required to ensure all parties’ safety.

  • If an employee is feeling ill prior to coming to the office, the below protocols are to be followed.
    • It is the employee’s responsibility to contact Chief of Staff, LLC management to ensure correspondence is received and acknowledged.
    • Any staff member with a 100.4+ degree fever needs to be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to work.
    • Any employee is required to inform Chief of Staff management if:
      • Symptoms indicative of COVID-19 appear (Find list below).
      • They have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
    • They have been exposed to the coronavirus.
  • Please remember and respect that we heavily rely on each employee to utilize their greatest judgment.
  • We will take the temperature of each employee at the beginning of the day. Anyone with a 100.4-degree or higher temperature, will not be permitted to work.
  • Whenever possible, practice social distancing by maintaining a distance of six feet between co-workers.
    • Do not share dishes, drinking glasses, or utensils
    • Avoid taking breaks together.
  • Please wear a mask when entering the office until you are seated at your desk, at which point you can feel free to remove the mask.
  • Please wear a mask every time you decide to move around in the office, that includes using the bathroom and the common area.
  • Hands are to be washed frequently and every time after going to the bathroom and after blowing the nose, coughing, or sneezing (For a complete list see resources below).
    •  Wet –> Lather –> Scrub –>Rinse –> Dry
    • Always wash hands with soap and for at least 20 seconds.
    • Include the arm up to the elbow.
    • No-touch drying practices are highly encouraged.
  • Sanitize your desk area before and after each workday.
  • Consistent sanitation of workspace is highly encouraged, when applicable. This includes frequent disinfecting of high touch surfaces, handles, and equipment.
  • All employees are expected to cover their noses and mouths when coughing and/or sneezing and are to use tissues to contain any secretions; and after use, are to dispose of them in the nearest receptacle.
  • Any employee experiencing sickness during the day is expected to notify management as soon as possible, and separate from all personnel until next measures are taken

Chief of Staff is doing its part as well to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Among others, we are implementing the following standards:

  • We will inform each employee who has been exposed to a co-worker who has been infected with the coronavirus as soon as we become aware of it while maintaining confidentiality.
  • We will ensure that each employee will be seated at least six feet apart from each other.
  • We will provide sanitizer and masks in the office.
  • We will ensure to have strict cleaning guidelines for the cleaning staff to make sure the exposure to the virus is limited in entire office, i.e door handles/door knobs, shared equipment (e.g., printers, scanners, phones, desks, chairs, computers, monitors.
  • We strongly suggest that everyone, sick or not, downloads the free app “How We Feel” on https://howwefeel.org/ to aid in the prevention of spreading the coronavirus. Tracing, identifying, and isolating virus prone individuals, is a vital initiative with which the state is moving forward. The app can help the state monitor hot spots, so they are better equipped and prepared to handle an influx of sick individuals. This app is very user-friendly and requires no personal information, with the exception of a zip code.
  • We will post signs across the office reminding employees of social distancing, cleaning and disinfection, and personal protection protocols (face masks, gloves)
  • Based on company responsibilities, those who are able to work from home, are permitted to do so
  • When possible, can increase ventilation in the office by opening doors, usage of fans
  • Visual social distance markers will be placed throughout the office
  • Install plexiglass barrier for front desk
  • Disinfectant products will be available
  • DECD self-certification completed and post on Chief of Staff website and/or in the office to show adherence to CT rules

 

Talent Policies & Procedures

Please be advised that the following practices will be required to ensure all parties’ safety prior to and on shift

  • If an employee is feeling ill prior to a confirmed shift, the below protocols are to be followed.
    • It is imperative to inform the Chief of Staff management at least 8 hours prior to the scheduled shift.
    • It is the employee’s responsibility to contact CTstaffing@chiefofstaffusa.com to ensure correspondence is received and acknowledged.
    • Any staff member with a 100.4+ degree fever needs to be fever-free for 24 hours before returning to work.
    • Any employee is required to inform the Chief of Staff management if:
      • symptoms indicative of COVID-19 appear (Find list below).
      • they have been diagnosed with COVID-19.
      • they have been exposed to the coronavirus.
  • Attendance is vital in order to properly satisfy client needs and provide the highest level of service; please remember and respect that we heavily rely on each employee to utilize their greatest judgment.
  • Shift leads will take the temperature prior to the start of each employee’s shift. Anyone with a 100.4-degree or higher temperature, will not be permitted to work.
  • Whenever possible, practice social distancing by maintaining a distance of six feet between co-workers.
    • Do not share dishes, drinking glasses, or utensils
    • Hands are to be washed frequently and every time after going to the bathroom, before handling food, and after blowing the nose, coughing, or sneezing (For a complete list see resources below).
    • Wet –> Lather–> Scrub –> Rinse–> Dry
    • Always wash hands with soap and for at least 20 seconds.
    • Include the arm up to the elbow.
    • No-touch drying practices are highly encouraged.
  • The new dress code includes carrying a pocket-sized hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol content and a neutral face mask.
    • The hand sanitizer is to be used according to label instructions and when access to soap and sinks may be limited.
    • For any shifts where social distancing is not an option, employees will be expected to wear a neutral face mask if accepted by clientele.
  • All employees are expected to cover their noses and mouths when coughing and/or sneezing and are to use tissues to contain any secretions; and after use, are to dispose of them in the nearest receptacle.
  • Any staff becoming ill or experiencing sickness after the start of their shift, are expected to notify management as soon as possible, and separate from all personnel until next measures are taken by onsite management.
  • Consistent sanitation of workspace is highly encouraged, when applicable. This includes frequent disinfecting of high touch surfaces, handles, and equipment.
  • Shift leads will be expected to enforce these practices strictly. Proper training/breakdowns on much of the above, are available on the CDC and WHO websites and can be provided to you, if unfamiliar on proper instruction and/or use of any of the above.
